After a raining and busy day yesterday and no FTF’s to go for, we really wanted to do a couple of geocaches today.  I had a baby shower to go to in the early afternoon so Kev and I planned on geocaching in the morning, well we would have if it wasn’t on-off raining!

It was time for the baby shower, so Kev dropped me off and went to take some photos.  While I was there, he went and did a couple of caches.  His first one GC29ZWB Mag Triton (North Shore City) was a nice and easy find.  He then went to GC1Y3H8 Once Tall and Proud (Auckland).  He spied the cache but due to the rain starting and too many muggles around, he had to leave it alone and we will go back another day.

Kev picked me up and we went to Albany Westcity Mall for some hot drinks.  In between the rain we decided to get the nearby caches which kiwifamily recently got.  The first one was GC209X0 "—!,Rover,—!" (Auckland).  An easy find but another example of great disguises.

We did GC1ZEDH The Great Lakes of Albany (Auckland) as soon as the rain stopped.  This is a recent development and it sure is a beautiful area.

This one didn’t take long to find especially with the great hint.  Kev called me and he took this pic, wasn’t ready for it!

Overall, a very quiet weekend geocaching, I guess that’s what it will be like during winter!  Hopefully next weekend we can do a whole lot more!
