I was busy today on a first aid course so ordered Kev and Kev Snr out on a day geocaching to get our numbers up. When they came to pick me up at 3pm I asked how many they found, the answer was none! The day was raining off and on so they never had a chance to get any. So on the way home we decided to get the two closest – GC1KPFQ Brassey (Auckland) and GC2ATBH Salvation is Nigh for the Chicken (Auckland).
We were dropping off a friend of mine (Gemma) who did the first aid course with me. I have been talking about geocaching for a few months now, and this was here first geocaching adventure. Getting to GC1KPFQ Brassey (Auckland) involved a steep wet slippery decline but once down there, I quickly found the cache.
A short drive away we came to GC2ATBH Salvation is Nigh for the Chicken (Auckland). The rain started to pour again so we parked right next to it and sent Kev Snr out to get it. Lucky another nice easy find!
So a fairly quiet weekend of geocaching and it seems Kevsteam has given up for FTFs. Hopefully better luck this weekend!
