Could make for some interesting reading…
I have been a bit very lazy the last month or so, just haven’t done any updating since Australia (and while in Australia!). Last night kiwifamily updated their Thanks 4 the Cache blog so I was inspired to catch up on mine.
The big news at the moment – Kev brought me a Garmin Oregon 450. I’m not very technical so when I started to use it I hated it. I find the iPhone app is nice and easy, and unlike the Oregon, when I swish my finger around to move the screen it doesn’t continually think I’m trying to open the page. I was a bit sad we spent so much and for a little more I could have got my own iPhone until Kev and I did a couple of caches yesterday. Mine just zeroed right into the cache and Kev was walking aimlessly around – the main reason why I begged him to buy me the Oregon lol.
The other thing on my geocaching mind at the moment is puzzles. I went to the skills event a few weeks ago and listened in on the puzzle workshop – absolutely nothing made sense! So me and Kev are trying to work on GC2ANW6 Envys: Pam Refuge (Auckland) and GC25X20 Easter Egg Hunt (Auckland), both nearby puzzles. We have been working on them for two days, and asked for help. Kev is beyond frustrated now and I’m not that far behind – anyone have an idea please help us!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will write soon!
Cath
PS – the shop is now open Saturday mornings.
WOW It sure looks good to have 2 countries (Australia & New Zealand) showing on our Geocaching Stats page. Also the Blog Finds map has been updated.
Keep on Caching
Kev
Spiders everywhere in fact everything in this country is out to get me…
This picture does not show how big the spider was. In fact it is a man eater with fangs so big I was risking life and limb just standing there
This picture of me looking at a spider was taken on a cache hunt on the Sunshine coast

I had packed my laptop to update the blog while on holiday. Unfortunately it was a lot of hassle to hook it up to the Internet so we just brought the sim card for the iPad. Blogging on this and using WordPress is driving me insane and basically I have to post cache by cache as I want the photos to go with each cache. I will have to add the links when I am back home – thanks stupIdPad.
I have been busy today running route queries for our trip to Queensland Australia, It should be fun 9 days and R&R with some Geocaching in there. We hope to get 2 stats under our belt NSW & QLD
So watch out Australian snakes and spiders the Kiwi cachers are coming

Planned on getting lots of caches before picking Cath up from a first aid course but it was normal Auckland weather AKA rain.. So did not get any finds done but managed to place a new cache out “Nano Hell” which has not been approved yet.
